Welcome to Royal Parade! Located in the centre of Harrogate on the historic Royal Parade, our pub combines centuries of history with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Part of the family-run and award-winning Harrogate Brewing Co., our beer is brewed nearby, meaning it’s always fresh and proudly local. We champion independent and award-winning ales alongside classic British pub dishes prepared by our chef, including pies, beer battered fish and chips, and traditional Sunday roasts. We’re dog-friendly, host live music, and welcome groups of all sizes.

The original ale house dates back to the 17th century and in 1786 was said to have “provided a stock of the best wines and other liquors”. Our Farrah Room, named after the famous Farrah’s toffee shop that once occupied the space, still retains part of the original shopfront, creating a unique setting for events.

Set within a historic Harrogate landmark, our Royal Parade team promises a warm, inviting atmosphere where local beer, good food and community come together.
